Personalized Expert and Case-Specific Consulting: For a specific review of an individual case, detailed consultation on specific issues, or other matters not covered by our general service packages, we charge Starting at 50 € per session. If a corresponding StartDE package is subsequently purchased, the consulting fee paid will be credited toward the package price.

How long does the recognition of a medical qualification take?
The duration depends on the German federal state, the medical specialty, and how quickly all required documents are submitted in full. The process often takes several months. We regularly follow up on your case to help avoid unnecessary delays as much as possible.
Do I need a specific language level before submitting the application?
Requirements vary depending on the relevant authority. A minimum of Level B2 is often required; in addition, the Specialized Language Proficiency Test (FSP) may be required at a later date. During our free package consultation, we explain the appropriate StartDE services. An individual case review can be booked as a separate consultation.
What happens if my recognition application is rejected?
We review the reasons for the rejection and support you in filing the appropriate objections or legal remedies within the applicable deadlines. We also help you adjust the documents in line with the authority’s instructions.
Can I arrange accommodation before arriving in Germany?
Yes. Depending on the package you choose, we can help you arrange furnished or unfurnished accommodation, for example near your language school or workplace.
What does the service fee cover, and can I pay in installments?
The service fee covers the services included in the package you’ve chosen. You’ll pay official costs—such as exam fees, government fees, visa and escrow account fees, as well as language courses and insurance—at the official rates. You can conveniently pay the service fee in monthly installments via Klarna or PayPal, so we can get started right away.

Through your personal StartDE student portal, you can see at any time which steps have been completed, what’s currently in progress, which documents are still missing, and which deadlines are coming up. In addition, your advisor will keep you informed of any important updates.
Are the official examination fees included in the packages?
No. Examination fees and government fees are not included in the package prices. We will inform you transparently about the expected fees.
